How it feels growing up Sensitive and Quiet

I’m the type of person who is very observant that I get to notice almost everything even the simplest thing. Sometimes I easily characterize a person because of their shown actions. I’m also the type of person that is way too sensitive but is very subtle and low-key –– living a tranquil life.

How it feels growing up sensitive and quiet? Here are some based on my personal life experience:

  1. YOU OVERTHINK EVERY LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE AND USUALLY KEEPING IT TO YOURSELF

You notice even the slight change of their tone and even their facial expression and not tell anyone about it because you’re scared to be judged and they may think you’re just ‘overreacting’ over ‘simple’ things. That’s what I hate the most, being just a ‘simple’ thing to them but too me it isn’t that it much affected my feelings. Sensitive feels 😦

  2. YOU CRY EASILY

Sometimes for no reason and sometimes for too much happiness. Rowdy it is. Then torturing yourself more by adding some music that suits your situation and feeling that you’re in a music video. Ha ha!

  3. YOU’RE ALSO AWARE TO OTHER PEOPLE’S FEELINGS

You don’t want to make them feel what you’re feeling so you’re also sensitive to their feelings and careful on taking actions around them. You feel that what hurts you, may hurt them too.

  4.  STUCK BETWEEN BEING “TOO KIND” AND “TOO RUDE”

We all have that way of thinking. Sometimes having a good heart and sometimes not having one especially when you’re done of people taking advantage of you.

  5. YOU EASILY GET TOUCHED WHEN WATCHING A MOVIE OR READING A STORY

I either cry or laugh easily when watching a movie or reading a touching story. Sometimes tears was shedding around my face but I didn’t even notice because I was too busy watching the movie. Lol. Weird, aye? Especially when I watched “A Walk To Remember”, so much feels!!!

  6. ATTACHMENT IS A SERIOUS MATTER

It would be so haaaaard for us sensitive people to unattached ourselves to the people who became part of our lives and even ourselves. Moment spent with them will remain a memory even the person itself has changed. But that’s life, people come and go. Acceptance is the only key. Don’t waste your time on people who don’t value you. Go on and live a happy life with or without them.

  7. YOU’RE OBSERVANT BUT NOT VOCAL ABOUT IT

You have a keen perceptive and was focusing on the actual world but mostly keep the curiosity to yourself. Because you insist that other people won’t understand you. You know that only you can understand your own feelings and you don’t want them to worry about you.

  8. YOU’RE LEARNING TO BE INDEPENDENT AND CONTROLLED OF YOUR OWN FEELINGS

You’re step by step learning to control your own feelings as time goes by and realizes that the only person that will help yourself to be stronger and wiser is YOU (and God of course) You’ll learn to stand on your own feet and resolve your own problem and face everyday challenges.

  9. YOU FEEL LIKE EVERYONE’S JUDGING YOU IN EVERYTHING YOU DO

You’re too conscious before making a move because you know that everyone would judge you anyway. So you’re slowly becoming focused on yourself and your passion in life and somehow that’s a big help for you and your future.
